Montañas en Resistencia (Mountains in Resistance)
A series of lectures and online conversations exploring the possibilities and intersections between art, activism and academic research, aiming at recognising mountains as living bodies active in the re-production of water. The cycle is developed in chapters that go from the field of the experience of the body and the social and political contexts of resistance to reach a conceptualization around the possibility of future life around and together with mountains; Proposing connections of care between human bodies, mountains, glaciers and rock formations.
Initiated by Amanda Piña in the frame of the fifth Volume of her research own Endangered Human Movements, Montañas em resistencia ( Mountains win Resistance) is coordinated by Alessandro Questa and developed within the framework of Third Talks, of the DAS Research programme, of the Theatre and Dance Research Department of the University of the Arts in Amsterdam. Developed in collaboration with Cecilia Vallejos and Victoria Uranga.

Montañas en Resistencia
Un ciclo de conferencias y conversaciones online que exploran las posibilidades e intersecciones entre el arte, el activismo y la investigación académica, para reconocer a las montañas como cuerpos vivos, partícipes en la re-creación del agua. El ciclo se desarrolla en capítulos que van desde el campo de la experiencia del cuerpo y hasta los contextos sociales y políticos para llegar a una conceptualización en torno a la posibilidad de vida futura alrededor y conjuntamente con las montañas; Proponiendo conexiones de cuidado entre cuerpos humanos, montañas, glaciares y formaciones rocosas.
Iniciado por Amanda Piña, en el marco del quinto Volumen de su investigación Movimientos Humanos en Peligro de Extinción, Montañas en Resistencia es coordinado por Alessandro Questa y desarrollado en el marco de Third Talks, del programa DAS Research, del departamento investigación en teatro y danza de la Universidad de las Artes de Ámsterdam. Desarrollado en colaboración con Cecilia Vallejos and Victoria Uranga.
